Albert Hollan
For District Judge
Albert Hollan is a native Houstonian who moved to Sugar Land in 1987 after graduating from law school at the University of Houston.  With a BBA in Finance and a JD in law, Albert Hollan chose to specialize in trials.  For the past two decades, he has represented people in Fort Bend, Harris, and surrounding counties.  Married to his wife, Peggy, for 20 years, they have two children. 

In 1992, after 5 years of intense litigation experience in area courts, Albert Hollan qualified to sit for the Personal Injury Trial Law examination given once a year in Austin by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  The following year, he sat for the daylong Civil Trial Law examination.

He has recertified every 5 years since and continues to be recognized as a Board Certified specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

He has tried cases in JP Court, Municipal Court, County Court, County Court-at-Law, State District Court and Federal District Court. 

Albert Hollan is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the Fort Bend County Bar Association.

He and his family attend First United Methodist in Sugar Land.  They are involved in scouting, little league baseball, ballet, and recreational league swimming.
